Senior Member Westview Posted January 12, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 12, 2021 Has anyone noticed hairs growing outside the donor recipient area?? I'm not even 3 months into my transplant yet but a few hairs have popped out well outside the transplanted area of my scalp, mostly on my forehead. Not many, maybe 6 or 7, but they are definitely 2 or 3 centimetres outside of the HT zone. Is this normal?? Anyone else ever have this??
Senior Member TorontoMan Posted January 12, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 12, 2021 Your other native hair is growing ? I’m confused by the question. If by outside of the recipient you mean in front of your hairline, I have baby hairs there too that started to grow well before my transplanted hairline area
Senior Member deitel130 Posted January 12, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 12, 2021 Did you recently start Finasteride or Minoxidil? That would probably be the reason.

That would probably be the reason. Minoxidil only. But I've never grown thick hairs on MX before like I'm growing now, and I've taken MX for the last 10 years

As you can see they are well out of the donor recipient area of the scalp Edited January 12, 2021 by Westview
