DUPA?

A Turkish hair clinic denied me for FUE, saying the following:

"All your main androgenetic areas (front, mid and crown) are thinning out, and also expanded crown is starting to get miniaturized.

A hair transplant is safe to be planned on a stable situation, not with an ongoing hair loss that seems destined to stop at a high norwood (6 or 7) like yours.

Furthermore you also seem to be at risk of DUPA (diffuse unpatterned alopecia) and Alopecia Retrograde, meaning that some hairs all around and inside the donor area can start to get miniaturized in the future if you don't take an anti DHT therapy."

Do you guys think I have DUPA? Two other clinics (not hair mills, they charge per graft and the doctor performs the procedure) approved me and mentioned nothing about this.

Have you been reviewed by a surgeon in person?

7 years ago but not recently.

You need to visit a surgeon in person, no one can say for sure you have DUPA by looking at a picture. Where do you live? I can suggest a decent local surgeon.

@giegnosiganoe no I don't want to if possible

Well your donor does seem to be patchy. If you want a chance at a good HT I would highly suggest trying it out. But yeah, go see a reputable Doctor or HT surgeon who can use a microscope to examine your hair. Or order one on Amazon - they only cost $30.
