You are going to hear it here time and time again. Do not base your choice on a set limited geographical area - what is preventing you from going South or even into researching other states?

Nothing is preventing me from doing any of those things, I’m not sure why you assumed that based on my post.

However, why would I want to travel 5+ hours to see a doctor, when there’s a reliable doctor closer. Just seems like common sense to see the closer doctor.

I don’t know of any closer to you, our list in my opinion are the best in all of Florida. I live in California and I drove 30 minutes to get my first HT, it came out crappy. Second time around I drove 5 hours and it was night and day difference. I wouldn’t even limit yourself to Florida. Look around the forum, look at real reviews/results. Base your decision on good work. I think you’ll find our forum to be a great resource for research.

I drove 15 hours for my last HT because I thought he was the best doctor.  Convenience should never be a factor.

Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013

Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020
