Senior Member Future Hair Doc Posted November 13, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted November 13, 2020 You can try topical finasteride. It's localized so you won't get the systemic side effects. My advice does not constitute a patient-physician relationship nor as medical advice and all medical questions/concerns should be addressed to your medical provider. Senior Member gillenator Posted November 14, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted November 14, 2020 I have always advocated to discuss this issue with your prescribing physician as some men do have success with the medication being ingested on an intermittent basis such as every other day or every third day. Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic. My opinions are not medical advice, but are my own views which you read at your own risk. Senior Member deitel130 Posted November 15, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted November 15, 2020 If someone experiences side effects they may want to try for at least a month if still there then stop. A lot of times the anxiety of the meds cause almost a placebo side effect. Other times after a hold off period and starting again might allow your body to adjust.
