is 99% Aloe Vera Juice bad after a few days after surgery to contain the itching?

I would probably feel more comfortable spraying a midst over the recipient and donor area as opposed to putting a gel on but figured I’d ask.

I applied organic aloe on the recipient and donor regions post-op and it helped soothe the skin.  Shouldn't be a problem.

I usually recommend olive oil on both the recipient and donor areas for the first 5 days and upto before the 10 days scrub. Helps soften the crusting. After that, I use Aloe vera gel on both areas as this is usually when the itching and redness peaks. Highly recommended.

Do a test on your forearm first to see how your skin reacts to it.  Some people have allergic reactions to it.

Thanks I actually did that and didn’t have a reaction at all. Just want to make sure not to put something on the graphs that could potentially damage them.

That's good.  How many days post-op are you (FUE or FUT)?  Do you have any skin irritation going on in the recipient region?

@AnimaII think the gel is better to apply and control and has a better cooling effect. Do not have much experience with people using the juice itself.

Thanks.

4 days FUE

Just minor swelling and obviously itchy as hell.

4 days post-op you can definitely do aloe gel on the donor and recipient region.  You're good!
