Regular Member DL7559 Posted September 1, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted September 1, 2020 I'm completely freaking out right now. I just had my FUT procedure yesterday. I was highly sedated, and fell asleep as soon as I went home. I ended up sleeping for 8 hours, and the headband that was covering my new hairline had moved to the middle of my forehead. I ended up moving positions in my sleep without realizing it, and I slept on my side, with the side of of my face and the side of my hairline against the pillow. I was not elevated. I'm afraid this will ruin my procedure. Please advise. Thanks.
Senior Member Britanium Posted September 1, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted September 1, 2020 I know it’s tough not to worry but you should be fine. Any grafts that are dislodged usually give a stream of blood. Do you have any pics you could share?
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted September 1, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted September 1, 2020 Are you going back to the clinic for a morning after check-up/cleaning? They can look over things to see if any of the grafts have been dislodged. Senior Member Taken4Granted Posted September 1, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted September 1, 2020 Yeah, they should settle that question for you in the follow-up. Definitely be more careful in the first couple weeks, though. Senior Member ciaus Posted September 1, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted September 1, 2020 I didn't do it back during my procedures, but I've read on here about guys tying their hands down to their sides so they can't reach up to their head and touch/scratch unknowingly while they sleep. Depending on how much you move or roll around while you sleep you may want to look into positioning pillows etc around your body so you stay on your back while you sleep too.
