Regular Member NAVI Posted July 16, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted July 16, 2020 (edited) Are transplanted hair placed in a similar fashion to that of the original hair?I could earlier make a volumised puff on my hairline which might have to do with my wavy hair or with the angles of my original hair. Will the doctor be able to give me similar graft placement so as to make that puff, which I consider the most important feature of my face. We also need to take into account the fact that the density will also be reduced to 40. Edited July 16, 2020 by NAVI
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted July 16, 2020 Administrators Share Posted July 16, 2020 Hairs are transplanted at the same angle of native hair, that is of course if you choose a good surgeon. I’ve seen transplants where the hairs are angled improperly, and its a disaster. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. I am thinking if my donor is not as wavy, I still would not get that puffy effect in my hairline
Senior Member Curious25 Posted July 16, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted July 16, 2020 From my experience, donor hair characteristics tend to be stronger than other areas on the scalp, in particular from the occipital region.
