Is having only single hair grafts a bad candidate?

I’ve had 2500 fue hair transplant and almost all of the grafts harvested were singles and only 50 doubles. This only covered my front corners and wanted to get another transplant to do the mid but afraid I won’t have enough donor. Is someone who only have mostly single hair grafts and thick coarse hair considered a bad candidate?

Are you able to give us more details? What level of hair loss did you have before? Where did you have your hair transplant? If you had thin donor hair comprising of single hairs then it sounds as though you were not an ideal candidate.

@zyzz using beard grafts is a potential option for you to use on your mid scalp. Beard grafts are single hairs and more thicker than regular scalp hair . They are great to help with density.

That doesn't mean you're a bad candidate, just that you don't have a very dense donor area. I'm surprised you would have that low of numbers with FUE. Who was your surgeon?

It sounds like your surgeon elected to use mostly singles because he was working the temporal lobe areas?...is that what you meant when you said "the front corners?"
