Regular Member Lohvisa Posted February 2, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted February 2, 2020 Can't see much from this photo. Can you zoom out a bit and focus the camera more so it's more clear? Also show pics of forehead.

Senior Member Gasthoerer Posted February 2, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted February 2, 2020 Looks like an infection. Are you on antibiotics? Anyway, you should contact your clinic and /or a dermatologist. Act quickly. 400+ grafts in 2018 and 2900 grafts in 2020 via FUE with Feriduni
Maddy121
Not on AB. Would topical iodine solution help? The soonest i can contact my clinic is tomorrow since its sunday today. Should i try taking an AB?
Regular Member 7Shel Posted February 2, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted February 2, 2020 I’d agree. Second photo seems to indicate infection. Have you called your surgeon’s after hours emergency line? Every surgeon should provide you with one. In terms of the forehead pain, that’s probably normal. Does it feel tight and hurt when you try to raise your eyebrows, for instance? That’s just the residual pain of the local injections. Can take 5-7 days to wear off. Maddy121
My Surgeon did not provide any emergency line. Should i take antibiotics on my own i have some at home. Would a topical iodine solution help? What is the treatment for this type of infection anyway?
Senior Member hairlossPA Posted February 2, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted February 2, 2020 who was your doctor? I would not take anything without a doctor prescribing something
Regular Member 7Shel Posted February 2, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted February 2, 2020 If you can’t reach the surgeon today, I’d consider going to an urgent care/emergency room. Or perhaps contact your normal physician. I’d then make sure you speak to the surgeon first thing tomorrow morning. Normal treatment would be a course of antibiotics, but you shouldn’t self-prescribe. You need to seek a medical opinion. I’m very surprised the surgeon didn’t provide contact information for emergencies. At minimum, there needs to be a way for you to reach someone via email, text, etc., even if it’s a nurse at the clinic.

Maddy121
Dont have access to any doctor right now. Will go to the clinic tomorrow. I tried an online medical app. Got to show it to a nurse but she gave no helpfull info except that i should go to the clinic or emergency room. Whats the worst can happen if i wait till tomorrow?
