After HT, did people notice it easily?

After the HT surgery, how easily were people able to notice you have done something to your scalp? I will be getting my front hairline done later in March and was thinking of brushing my hair forward so it hides the HT area.

Is that what others try to do?

Perhaps, I was a bit insensitive.

No. It won't be that detectable if you're just doing the hairlines.

Start combing your hair forward now, so that people won't notice a sudden change in hair style.

I comb my hair forward.

take care...

I guess it depends on how short you are wearing your hair and whether it's FUE or FUT.

I had mine done in the crown and my existing hair covered up the scar. When I went to have the sutures removed at my local doc, they didn't really understand where the implants were. They thought the transplanted hairs were just my normal hairs cut shorter.

I had my hair shaved and still no one noticed. I did stay inside my apartment for the first two weeks. But I either I was always wearing a hat or when I couldn't, I just said I made a mistake cutting my own hair so I shaved it. No one assumed a HT.

So far nobody noticed at work. I work in a close environment with others that know me well. I think one of them may have noticed something I caught starring but all he said was "You forgot your brush at home?" I replied yes happily.. I have covered any grafts except of course for the little bit below where I part it, but you cannot tell unless very close.
