Slaphead123
I was told that I didn’t have enough hair loss yet to get a transplant, has anyone else had this response to a transplant request ?
Regular Member OliverTja Posted February 2, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted February 2, 2019 As far as I'm concerned your age matters as well. How old are you?

Senior Member Fozzie Posted February 2, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted February 2, 2019 (edited) If it's just thinning around the crown, I think surgeons can be reluctant to perform surgery as a lot of the time, you'll continue to thin/loose hair in that area taking you back to square one fairly soon after a HT. If it's just your crown that's thinning at the moment, your best bet is probably medication if your not already on it. Senior Member PlzRespond Posted February 2, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted February 2, 2019 Shock loss might also be a concern for a surgeon. Lots of info on what this phenomenon is on this site
Slaphead123
I was just advised by another clinic that you can’t use FUE because I still have too much hair on the crown (despite significant thinning). As such DHI would be the way to go, has anyone else had this treatment ?
