Regular Member callumb93 Posted October 31, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted October 31, 2017 Hi, I’m currently coming up to 6weeks post op and a spot (white puss) formed on the transplanted hairline after washing the spot popped and was bleeding just wondering if this could affect the grafts/result? Thanks
Senior Member lorenzo Posted October 31, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 31, 2017 Can you post a photo? If so you should also send a photo to your hair transplant doctor to get their opinion. Senior Member Speegs Posted November 1, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted November 1, 2017 Sounds like a pimple, did you take pictures? I'd take this up with your physician and see what they have to say. Hair loss patient and transplant veteran. Once a Norwood 3A. Senior Member pkipling Posted November 13, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted November 13, 2017 Even though it sounds quite normal - not to mention that at 6 weeks post-op you should be in the clear in terms of permanent graft damage - I would still reach out to your surgeon and supply photos to him if you have any doubts. Senior Member gillenator Posted November 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted November 14, 2017 And especially if there are more than just one pimple....always a good idea to be sure it is not an infection.
