cda511
Hi guys, I got 2000 grafts at the beginning of January and I am extremely concerned with my growth thus far. I know that there are slow growers out there and I definitely have more hairs than before, however they are extremely thin. I have attached a photo of before (where there is a bald spot) and a few pictures from today. Any thoughts or similar experiences you have would be appreciated. Thanks so much
Regular Member rfeng2003 Posted July 7, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted July 7, 2017 Looks a little slow, but i would say give it another couple months. Who was your doctor?
Senior Member Louisjams Posted July 9, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted July 9, 2017 It does look like a low yield for 2k grafts. You might want your surgeon to take a close look.
Senior Member Sean Posted July 9, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted July 9, 2017 What was the goal of this transplant as mentioned to the surgeon? Is this your first procedure? 6 months you should see some sprouts and growth. Definitely mention the concern to surgeon and document. If it doesnt change within next two months at all, then then see what could be done. Wish you the best and good luck.
cda511
I saw him the other day and he said that the inflammation I experienced after the surgery could be a cause for delayed growth. Idk I'm just super nervous about the whole thing tbh.
