goodwally
About concealers. Want to use either toppik or samson. Worried of side effects like scalp damage or more balding,, etc. Can they damage follicles?
Regular Member mrfivehead Posted April 15, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted April 15, 2017 In short, no. I have yet to read a surgeon disclose that concealers can inhibit natural, and transplanted hair growth. In fact they all recommend it during the ugly duckling phase. Senior Member Speegs Posted April 17, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 17, 2017 It's just putting a product in your hair, it's no more harmful than a hair gel or styling cream. Senior Member mikeey Posted April 17, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 17, 2017 I think all concealers Look like Dust when you are close enough from the person opposite you , from far it looks natural , But from very near I think they all Look fake because the all actually sink down to the skin of the head and not cling to the hair as they Claim . I have tried Caboki but found it very un-natural up close , looks like Crow shit .

They do look like you've done a bad job coloring your hair in some instances. Hair loss patient and transplant veteran. Once a Norwood 3A. Senior Member gillenator Posted April 21, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 21, 2017 I still use Toppik and have never thought it was noticeable but then again there is a fair amount of hair on my scalp that it can cling to. You just have to know when enough is enough and not cake it on. On the other end of the spectrum, if there is not enough hair density for the fibers to cling to, yes it can be noticeable.
