yungman2323
Is there a difference in effectiveness of Rogaine foam vs the "extra-strength" liquid rogaine?
Senior Member KO Posted January 9, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted January 9, 2017 In theory, no, however many believe that liquid is better at penetrating etc. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
yungman2323
Thanks KO, and do you know if it's worth using it for receding temples along with fin? On the box it says rogaine is for the crown only.
Senior Member home1212 Posted January 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted January 14, 2017 It states that on the box because technically that's where it was clinically tested, but Rogaine is acceptable for use on the entire scalp.

Yep Rogaine was tested on the crown (most meds are usually only tested on the crown btw), but I would liberally apply it over the scalp. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
yungman2323
Gotcha, thanks. So even if I'm just receding on the temples as of now I should put it all over the scalp? I guess that makes sense cause I would eventually lose it there anyways, but I plan on also getting on finasteride so I was thinking that would keep the hair I have and the Rogaine would just help to maybe regrow some on the temples? Senior Member KO Posted January 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted January 14, 2017 I don't think it's necessary to put it on non thinning areas. That said, I find that the foam helps me style my hair....so there's that. Just do what you're comfortable with. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
