Senior Member garethbale Posted October 17, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 17, 2016 Outstanding result. Not a huge number of grafts and looks very full, though I guess his donor density helps. I've not come across Dr Lupanzula much but I've been very impressed with his results so far. Regular Member HRSN1 Posted October 18, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted October 18, 2016 So happy for you mate. Just wondering was your scar visible with buzz cut 3 or 2? And if the scar is visible now at all with a buzz cut?

Just wondering was your scar visible with buzz cut 3 or 2? And if the scar is visible now at all with a buzz cut? Dear all, Many thanks for your comments. Coming to your questions: the patient's donor density, after his FUT surgery, was assessed at around 6000-6500 FUs. After this FUE procedure, his donor capacity is approximately 3500-4000 FUs. And, as soon as we retrieve his hair caliber data, we'll update you. Concerning the scar: before it was indeed visible with a buzz cut 2 or 3, while now you should not perceive it at all. We'll ask to the patient to send pictures of his donor if and when he will cut his hair very short, so hopefully we'll have the visual proof! Best, Dr Lupanzula E. Senior Member Dr. Lupanzula Emorane Posted October 19, 2016 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 19, 2016 Hi , the patient has what appears to be scar tissue around the grafts that were placed from his previous fut procedure at another clinic , what is the cause of this and how is it that you avoild this discolouration around the grafts in the recipient ? Thanks Hi wibbles180, That scar tissue may have been originated by a wrong execution of the incisions in the recipient area. In this case, we hided that bad appearance/discoloration by implanting hair follicles all around and on the scar tissue itself. Another solution to this problem could have been a tricopigmentation of the affected tissue. Regards, Dr Lupanzula E. Senior Member wibbles180 Posted October 19, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 19, 2016 Thanks for your reply , just goes to show that in the wrongs hands the recipient can be damaged as well as the donor ! Got to say again this is a fantastic result and surely gives hope to some of the guys out there that have had similar poor outcomes in previous or old style surgery please keep regular posts coming
