Hi guys

I need to know if anybody has had TH with Dr Anil Garg of India. He is plastic surgeon and performs HT. Quality of his work based on his web site looks pretty good. I had a on line consultation with him and the advise was that I would need a combo procedure which will provide 5000grafts(10000 hair).

Being NW 6/7 will need head and body hair to get a reasonable density and coverage.

Any other good HT surgeon for NW 6/7?

Any feedback is appreciated

India has HT surgeons popping up every day. never heard of that doctor. I would look outside of India. there is no one there that I would chose for a HT. there are far better choices out there but you will have to travel.

There are a couple of good surgeons for HT using body hair in India. One is Dr Bhatti. There is a member on here by the name of harin. He had an amazing HT done in India by another doc. Search for his thread.

@SKYLAR - I do not know how much experience you have with HT!, have u had a bad experience with your HT in India?.

India offers some of the Best options for HT and at 1/8 th to 1/10 th the cost of the same as in UK and USA.

Infact the forum Moderator David had it done with Dr. Bhatti, Chandigarh. There are at least 5-6 extremely well qualified HT surgeons recommended by this forum itself.

There are plenty of other extremely well qualified doctors who are offering top notch quality at very affordable prices.

This unqualified allegation is very unreasonable.

Please check out my thread below in my signature. I had my HT at Eugenix hair transplant clinic India. wonderful experience with top notch doctors who graduated out of the top medical school in India and have thousands of HT surgeries under their belts already. (Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi).

In my opinion if you want the top notch quality without bankrupting yourself off of hard earned money - India is probably the top option for you.

Good luck.

Thanks Harin

In fact I read your story very recently and really impressed by the skill of Eugenix team. Congratulations to the very good outcome of your HT. I contacted Dr Pradeep and received replies from him promptly, even had an skype consultation which went on very promising.

I am NW 6/7 like yourself, already had an HT. My first HT was done following poor research and I have got only myself to blame. Therefore, for the second one, I would like to have it done with the best surgeon.

I am seeing Dr Bhatti here in the UK, because of degree of my baldness not sure if he would take on my case.

Dear Harin, for my reassurance, is it possible to speak to you via skype/viber/face time or whatever means you prefer so I could put all my doubts away and have done with Dr Pradeep if Dr Bhatti won't do it?

Please let me know, this would be a big favour.

Thanks you in advance

I think the first step would be to complete your consultation with Dr. Bhatti, since Dr. Bhatti is recommended hereand might takeup ur case since he is your first choice.

It will be very difficult for me with my busy clinical practice to be available on skype/viber/facetime. If ur living anywhere near California/New Mexicoarea ur welcome to visit me and see me personally. You could also see my thread or the profile picture album for updates as well.

I also suggest posting some pictures of your donor areas and your current hair situation.

I live in England so won't be able to see you. Indeed, due to my last experience, I would like to explore all possible options. Will definitely see Dr Bhatti here in the UK. But the more I read, the more it becomes difficult who to choose and where to go.

I am currently working on my web site, so soon there would be so pics.

Sultsay,

There are a great number of surgeons in India but the truth is, only a select few have been approved for recommendation on the Hair Transplant Network. That's not to say that we have prescreened and declined all other surgeons however, there are a number that have contacted us that are simply not doing work on par with other leading surgeons and we've had to decline their application.

In my opinion, you may want to consider consulting with doctors we've already approved since this community has seen their work and have been impressed.

Best wishes,

Bill

Yes,it is a difficult decision to make. You should probably share your previous experience as well, may be forum members could help you in some way. You could also consider the same on different forums as well.

As with regards to my own personal experience I did evaluate all recommended providers here on the forum fron India/USA/Europe other places like Turkey. And some day I shall post my experiences dealing with some of these clinics here if forum rules permit the same. Only one of the recommended provider in here agreed to take up my case and rest of them either declined or had results NOT impressive enough for me personally!.

Again not that my results are done and dusted at this time, things may change in due course, but I have been very happy with my HT specialist who took up a challenging case of NW6/7 grade baldness and gave me such a nice result.

So my only suggestion is that you do your own research....check out various resources and in the end you are the one who will bear the consequences of either good or bad results of the HT.

I have been thinking about Dr. Anil Kumar Garg of India as well. He and his surgeon wife, Seema Garg, seem to be well qualified.

They are diplomates of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS).

They had a study published in ISHRS publication Hair Transplant Forum International: https://www.ishrs-htforum.org/content/htfi/28/6/217.full.pdf

https://rejuvenatehairtransplant.com/dr-anil-k-garg/

They are experienced and enthusiastic about using body hair.  They don’t charge higher price for body hair FUEs than scalp FUEs.

Their home page, https://rejuvenatehairtransplant.com, talks about hair transplant prices in India.

They are MUCH cheaper than the highly recommended doctors in India. Maybe because they are in Indore, a smaller city, not Delhi or Mumbai. Their practice seems dedicated to native Indians, not to attract richer westerners for medical tourism like the more famous big-city India HT clinics.

If you google the clinic “rejuvenate clinic indore”, you will find 348 Google Reviews with an overall score of 4.7 out of 5.

I must say that the low price makes me nervous, but the man seems honest and legitimate.

With that low price, I can afford to experiment with using a bunch of body hair like stomach and chest and not worry about losing a lot of money if only a small percent of it grows, as many doctors caution about body hair.

Right now they are closed because of the virus hysteria, but, assuming they open again, would you think they are a risky option?
