Senior Member Julius Posted August 8, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 8, 2009 I was just wondering if you would be able to get a full looking head of hair back using fut, fue and bht even if you were a norwood 7? Assuming funds were no problem and you had an average amount of body hair
Bill - Seemiller
Julius, I suppose if you're as hairy as a hairy backed gorilla and had an abundant scalp donor supply, you'd at least have enough hair to transplant. Whether or not it would all grow is another story, especially since BHT seems pretty inconsistent. Best wishes, Bill
Senior Member HairDew Posted August 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 10, 2009 I just dont understand how BHT can grow the same as scalp hair. Im kinda hairy on my chest but those are all single FUs and very short and it took pretty much all my life (37 yrs) to grow them. How would that grow on your scalp really puzzles me. Regular Member HunkyMonkey Posted August 12, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted August 12, 2009 HairDew, Have you ever waxed your chest? I did it about 3 months ago and now the hairs have all grown back, if anything denser than before. Senior Member HairDew Posted August 12, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 12, 2009 No, I've never waxed it, even thought I'm going through P90X program (I'm on my second month) and I think I will wax it after my 90 days of working out ))))
Senior Member TC17 Posted August 12, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 12, 2009 My dad is a NW 6.5, but he could EASILY have a nice, full head of hair if he went the BHT route. It's gross, yet impressive as to how much body hair the man has on his chest and back. Back in the 70's, his look was all the rage, now, not so much. I had my chest waxed once and it hurt like hell, but did not grow back any thicker. I don't recommend you wax your chest, it's just not worth it.
