Quick question guyz.

Just tried to wash my head 7 days post HT and scrubbed lightly and saw few hairs fall out along with the scabs (10-15).

Is it normal?. How soon after a HT are the roots secure?,I have heard some peoplesay 5 days, some 7 days, some 10-12 days??.

Appreciate the help. Thanks.

After a week they're secure, I wouldn't worry about it, however what was your doctors washing instructions? I only rinsed my hair with baby shampoo in a bowl of water, I didn't scrub my hair until 2 weeks.

Instructions are to gently shampoo and gently scrub after 6 days. I have stopped any scrubbing though. Will live with some scab for another 4-5 days. Then as u said my plan is to scrub off scabs at that time. I was told though in many people roots are

SeCured by 7 th day. In some it might be 10-12 days. Though this was only few grafts I was a bit worried.

It sounds like the graft hair came off with the crusts.

And I agree to wait until 10 days or so post-op before removing them...;)
