Senior Member jupiter_jessica Posted October 30, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 30, 2015 This gentleman came to us wanting to improve the appearance of his last transplant from 20 years ago. His goal was to improve the "pluggy" look and also to have some hair distributed through the crown area to minimize the bald spot. After two FUT procedures and 3,298 grafts placed, he is very happy with his new and improved appearance. Senta *I am a Medical Assistant at Jupiter Dermatology & Hair Restoration. Senior Member win200 Posted October 30, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 30, 2015 Were any of the previous grafts excised and divided? It looks like there were old-school plugs used in his last procedure.
Senior Member BadBeat Posted October 30, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 30, 2015 Sorry, but I don't think this is a very good result.
Senior Member HairLostYears Posted October 30, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 30, 2015 Yea, thumbnails 3 and 5 certainly don't look "new and improved" to me. Not much of a cosmetic difference at all, really. Is this the reality of what 3300 grafts of the gold standard of transplants can achieve, or is this simply a mediocre result? If the latter, why would the clinic use this as a showcase example of their work? - Negative Nancy
