Regular Member TherealKH Posted October 9, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted October 9, 2015 Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone uses concealers with Regain, my hair is quite thin on top now (Norwood 4 or even 5) and in preparation for a HT that I am looking to have done next year the clinic have recommended I start using Propecia and Minoxidil (which I believe you have to apply twice per day) This is going to be problematic with the concealers I use Couvre and Topikk, has anyone else combined these or have they been forced to ditch the concealers and bare all ?? Senior Member esrec Posted October 9, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 9, 2015 Are you asking about usage post surgery, or how to use the product in conjunction with meds prior? I personally didnt begin using concealers until I moved away from Fin and Min. I'd imagine Fin is fine since you're just taking a pill. Applying Min and then loading up on concealers might be counterproductive. That said, prior to my HT a week ago I was using couvre and toppik daily for 3 yrs if you have questions on using this products together. I'm abstaining post surgery for a bit then returning with a sister dermatch product instead of couvre, and toppik.
Senior Member voxman Posted October 9, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 9, 2015 Concealers would totally mess with the look I am trying to achieve. I'm serious. Just look at my face. My Hair Regimen: Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Pete-from-Farjo
You're right in saying that combining regaine and couvre would be a real hassle and quite time consuming. I'd suggest trying to manage with just the toppik if you can. It will be far easier to deal with day to day. Regular Member mocachin Posted October 19, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted October 19, 2015 Concealers would totally mess with the look I am trying to achieve. I thought that you style your hair the way you want it then add fibres? surely it would just boost up what you've styled?
