Regular Member humble1 Posted November 13, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted November 13, 2015 That doctor appears to be based in Chicago. Dr Konior in Oakbrook Terrace might be able to take a quick look if you are worried. Matt thank you for your post. I know this is Eddie's thread but I saw your suggestion to see Dr. Konior for a "sanity check". I sometimes have a need to travel to Chicago for business, so I will book an appointment with Dr. Konior at my six month mark, after my appointment with the facility which did the HT. I don't suffer from MPB and I'm not sure I will have another procedure but I want my areas of loss to improve.
Bill - Seemiller
Eddie, I know this thread started months ago so I'm a little late to provide any real encouragement however, hair transplant surgery is a process that takes time. As somebody else already said, it is a marathon not a sprint. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for the grafts to shed, and sometimes this doesn't happen if you are lucky. Also, it takes 3 to 5 months to even start to see signs of growth which you are now starting to see at least from your last update. So it appears that everything is right on track for you. I encourage you to continue using this community for support and continuing to post photos each month so we can watch your progress. All the best and happy growing, Bill

Senior Member Matt27 Posted June 15, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted June 15, 2016 looks like a lot of area to cover for 1200 grafts, especially since it needs to be dense.

Playing catchup on this thread, but very happy to see there's gonna be a happy ending. Out of curiosity, do you have photos of the final outcome of your first HT? Also, was the reason you were unsatisfied simply that you didn't receive enough grafts to get the density you wanted? Or was there an issue with the actual work? Regardless, looking forward to seeing your results with Dr. Konior. Would love an update when the time comes. I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA.
