  1. Looking great Yas! Awesome result, cant believe its been over 2 years since your second FUE
  2. Hey HT-FUE, hope you had a good New Years mate. I went off Proscar after 1 year as side effects started to kick in, luckily the hair has held if you do happen to go back to Erdogan for a touch up let me know.
  3. Hey HT-FUE, Hey Erkso, its great to see you both posting after all this time. The HT was one of the best decisions I've ever made and was glad I could share the experience alongside you guys. Hope all is well and have a great new year.
  4. Generic Finasteride worked well for me. Took it for just over 12 months then stopped as my libido was affected. Never experienced any shedding during or after I stopped taking it.
  5. Hey Handski, it looks like your healing up well mate. The most growth occurred for me between the 5th and 6th month period. After waiting so long my hairline thickened up almost completely during the 5-6th month after my HT with Erdogan. Looks like you may be on the same schedule. Not far to go now! Best of luck.
  6. Hey James, I researched for around 2 years before I jumped in and got a HT. Dr Koray Erdogan is in the top 3 surgeons in the world in my opinion so I was happy to pay for the best work. I had 3200 FUEs and it cost me around $12000 Australian with airfares but it was worth every cent. He has a Hospital that rivals the best of any Australian Hospital when it comes to cleanliness and professionalism. The only thing I would warn you about, because you do television is the redness of the scalp after you have a HT. It eventually goes away, but it took over 5 months for the redness to subside on my scalp, I would just tell people it was sunburn or wear a cap. Everything else regarding my experience went smoothly. It takes at least 5 months for the regrowth to begin to really kick in so you will go through an ugly ducking phase. Just make sure you do your research and check out my experience and photos through my thread. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/181776-asmed-dr-koray-erdogan-3200-fue-november-25th-2015-a.html
  7. Hey James, Yes I'm very happy with my outcome. If you click on my profile you should find my thread with my experience including photos. I had a similar hairline to you. Good luck mate Erdogan is the best in my opinion but I did not know he was working out of London now?
  8. Hey Milo, I have been on this forum since 2013 and after 2 years of research decided to have FUE surgery, 3200 grafts with Dr Koray Erdogan in November 2015 and I'm very pleased with how my hair has turned out. I traveled all the way from Australia to Turkey for my surgery as I believe he is in the top 3 hair transplant surgeons in the world at present. You can follow my experience here http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/181776-asmed-dr-koray-erdogan-3200-fue-november-25th-2015-a.html All the best mate!
  9. Hey hkuser, its been nearly 8 months since I had my HT with Dr Erdogan and I am pleased with my result, here are my answers to your questions: 1. 8 out of 10 satisfaction 2. No 2-3 weeks is not enough you will be just starting to shed the transplanted hairs and there will be redness of the scalp for quite some time to come. Either wear a hat or wait a month for all the transplated hairs to shed and be prepared for people to ask why your scalp is so red which the best explanation is sunburn, this excuse will run thin after 1-2 months though haha. 3.No post op complications for me 4.No I have not seen any posts or known anyone of his patients that have expressed dissatisfaction with Dr Erdogan so far. Ive been on this forum since 2013. 5.Yes I believe the results are honest. What you see is what you get. 6. Mate I'm glad I went ahead with Dr Erdogan, IMHO he must be in the top 3 HT surgeons in the world, I was skeptical at first and even flew all the way from Australia to meet him in person to sus everything out before I decided to go ahead, and he even allowed me into surgery to watch and speak to the patients. It will take at least 5-6 months for you to start to feel like your HT was worth it and for the transplanted hair to blend in with the native hair and for you to feel comfortable exposing your head at social events, but the end result is worth it. I would however wait for the current situation in Turkey to settle down before you book. Best of luck mate!
  10. Congrats Erkso, looks natural mate. We got in and out of in Turkey at the right time, crazy over there right now.
  11. Yeah so true, it took a little more patience than i expected - 5 to 6 months to get to the point where the transplanted hair began to blend in with the native hair but the wait was well worth it.
  12. Yeah I'm a month behind posting my 6 month pics. This pic was taken on the 25th of May should have posted it on that date. Hows everything going your end?
  13. Here is my 6 month update. I am happy with my result so far any extra thickening is a bonus.
  14. Hey Quasi, Good to hear another fellow Aussie has had a HT with Dr Erdogan. Give it 6 months and you will be happy with how it thickens up. Congrats mate, happy growing!
