2266 FUE with Dr. Kumari at Liverpool hair transplant center

I booked and paid to have 2000 grafts with Dr. Kumari but she actually extracted 2266 (yielding 5,318 individual hairs) by FUE and she put them all in for no extra charge, considering she does FUE for only 1.50 sterling per graft, it is already by far the u.k most realistic pricing for FUE making it affordable to the masses.

After meeting the lovely Christina at 7.30am at the clinic she provided me with tea and toast before putting a temporary black dye on my hair and clipperd it on the shortest level.

All my before and after pics are available on my profile, all comments welcome.

Dr. Kumari arrived around half eight and began to administer all the anaesthetics before drilling the grafts but leaving them all in place to keep them nourished until they were all removed at the same time, shortening the time out of the body.

By now the planter had arrived and began counting the grafts and hairs per graft. She was very profesional and had a quick tempo placing the grafts and managed to do all 2266 grafts by herself. We finally got finished around 9.30pm and I was dressed and given my meds to take at home, I go back to the clinic today for a check up and to get redressed.

I will post regular updated pictures and keep you informed of the progress of the grafts over the coming months :D

Very true mate, at last it is becoming affordable here in the u.k. I was a bit apprehensive at first but the doctor is very helpful and she arranged for past patients to meet me at the clinic who were all very happy so that put my mind at ease, like you say at 1.50 sterling FUE is a great price, this was my third transplant and I know I need to wait to see the results but I feel the clinic were very professional in there aproach and execution and also there aftercare. So far I'm very pleased. I will add some more pictures that the doctor emailed me soon.

5300 hairs transplanted FUE in the UK for only 3000 sterling is unheard of. It has saved me traveling abroad. I just now need to await the results but I have seen many of her previous clients whilst being at the centre and they all seem to have succesful growth.

Hi, yes there was one bad review on here and I tried to contact the reviewer with no response, I of course had some reservations after reading this review and took it to the surgeon, she was horrified by the review and went to great lengths to bring in previous clients to meet me and show me there before pictures and inspect the work done, they were both very happy but the thing what convinced me most was that I found out my best friend had a work acquaintances who had used the clinic, my friend gave me his number to call him and he was very happy with the results after 6 months,

I do feel a very professional job has benn done so far and this is my third transplant so I do have an idea, of course I will have to wait 6 months to be sure just how good it is, have you seen the pictures of my last surgery, I would welcome all comments :)

Hi , well I'll certainly follow this thread with great interest as I am in the northwest uk also . Do you know how long the dr has been performing fue ? Also where she trained and who with ? Also is it a motorised or manual extraction , is dr Kumari able to estimate donor capacity and future loss etc , not sure where I read it but did the dr train with dr Harris ? If so it would be greatly encouraging ! Really hope you have found an affordable uk surgeon but until I have seen more documented cases I'm still a sceptic :/

Hi I understand your scepticism. I am not aware who she trained with but she was a surgeon in the NHS before branching into cosmetic surgery. She has attended some INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HAIR RESTORATION SURGERY conferences and is a member.

She manual extracts all the grafts and she leaves the grafts in situation until all have been drilled before removing them all at once to preserve the integrity of the graft.

I hope this is of help. I know there is some information on her clinic website

Best of luck to you and thanks for posting, I am considering FUE and am 9 months in to taking propecia and think I am just about seeing some positive signs. I am hoping for a consultation with Dr Farjo next year to assess my suitability and will keep my fingers crossed for you matey. It's amazing how positive you feel when you start taking some action to address the problem, if the meds don't work out or I'm not a suitable candidate at least I know I've done everything to try and find a solution. Sorry you were taken advantage of when you were in a vulnerable state, seems to have been a common practice at one time - looks like you're on the right tracks now though very best of luck.

Thanks jack, do you research and then do one more, as you know I've made one or two errors on my journey to having hair but I'm hoping to be there now. the meds will do a good job for you, just persevere with them. :D

Be nice to see how this patient is coming along, because I have seen some really worrying results being posted online, and what makes it even more disturbing, is its the clinic themselves posting the results, as if they are proud of them.
