Senior Member Hairsearch21 Posted April 14, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted April 14, 2015 Dr. Bernstein, I have a question. How much density would this patient need for full coverage even with hair styled straight to the back? I mean which density per cm2. Thanks! Senior Member Hairsearch21 Posted April 18, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2015 In myopinion... Its defintely not dense enough. It looks like a density of maybe 30FUs/cm2..
Senior Member Spanker Posted April 18, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2015 Nice job for the grafts. Why did you choose to do 2 sessions equaling less than 3k grafts instead of knocking it out in one shot? Donor tightness? Pt funds? BUSA
thats just not enough grafts to cover a NW6 and the blepharoplasty makes his HT look better cause it makes his face look more youthful. looks a lot better tho which I guess is the whole point. wud jus look best with another 3000 grafts if not more. he still has the hairline of a guy in his mid 50's so imo it really didn't accomplish the goal. Senior Member Cant decide Posted April 20, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted April 20, 2015 Nice job for the grafts. Why did you choose to do 2 sessions equaling less than 3k grafts instead of knocking it out in one shot? Donor tightness? Pt funds? Classic Bernstein. I can see not wanting to take 5000 from the donor in one go but 2 procedures to cover 3000 grafts is just inefficient and not in a patients best interest IMHO. Unless the donor supply is that limited which it usually is not.
