It's hard to say. If you are feeling prickly hairs, but can't see them, it could be signs of early growth. This is not too uncommon.

 

Typically transplanted hair that's latest 7 weeks will have grown and won't feel prickly.

I am also around 7 weeks post-op. I had a few hairs that didn't fall, I'm not sure how many... maybe 30, it's difficult to tell. These hairs have some length to them now (different lengths) but they don't feel prickly.

 

In the last week, I have felt a lot of prickly hairs - some I can see in the right light, but some I cant see at all.

Close-up in the mirror, I started seeing some new fine hairs growing at 7 weeks. The majority didnt kick in until later, but a small % of the hairs started growing as early as week 7.

 

The majority didnt not kick in until later, and it was even later that the whole HT was cosmetically significant.

I'm about 8 weeks post-op and I can confirm what Bill said that the transplanted hairs that didn't fall out have continued to grow so they are close to an inch long now.

Damn, i didn't know this could happen? so, some of your transplanted hair has just carried on growing 2 months after being transplanted? Is this quite rare?
