Senior Member javy Posted March 9, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2009 Hello guys I have been in contact with Dr Hamayun and was also keen to undergo a surgery in feb. But due to tension between the two countries (i am an Indian),Shahid (Dr. Hamayun's assistant) was little reluctant to mail me the letter of invitation and then, after he finally did mailed it, my dad seemed to echo with shahid and though going to pakistan is not the greatest of the idea.. but i seemed to disagree with him.. I don't think there will be a problem.. Of course, considering the worst case scenario, security and special government agencies will keep a watch on me for a long time but i don't think that will be a big problem.. Moreover, i just have to stay in Islamabad for 3 or 4 days and i am off to India again... What do you think guys...?? Any advice..?? please dont suggest me to postpond my surgery plans as i have waited enough and i dont want to prolong my waiting period........ Done done.. Senior Member Leeson Posted March 9, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2009 What about Dr. Pathomvanich in Thailand? He's recommended. My Hair Loss Website - Dr. Hasson
Bill - Seemiller
Javy, Are you referring to Dr. Humayun Mohmand? In my opinion, he does high quality follicular unit hair transplantation. But if you are concerned about traveling into Pakistan and Shahid confirms it, you may be better traveling to Thailand to undergo surgery with Dr. Pathomvanich who is also recommended. Best wishes, Bill

Senior Member AMR1 Posted March 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 10, 2009 I did HT with Dr Humayun and was in and out within 48hrs so you can plan it well and leave fast, land the night before HT, next day do HT then next morning have your check up and straight to the airport, Shahid will take care of you very well as he did for me, you stay in the blue area which is very safe and is a Bunglow like B&B so security is tight with a armed security guard at the door at all time's, I was to very reluctant to go to Pakistan but there set up is very good and you will be in good hands. 1600 grafts FUT Mr May (UK) Sept 1996 https://www.wimpoleclinic.com'>https://www.wimpoleclinic.com 1600 grafts FUT Mr May (UK) February 1998 https://www.wimpoleclinic.com 2475 grafts FUT Dr Mohammed Humayun Mohmand (Pakistan) 27th January 2009 http://www.hti.com.pk 3550 Total Grafts (3000 rear donor area & 400 from beard and 150 breast area) FUE & PRP Treatment with Dr Emrah Cinik (ISHRS), Istanbul, Turkey. 10th October 2017 http://www.emrahcinik.com/ My Blog & Hair loss website story: https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1123
Senior Member Dr. Mohammad Humayun Mohma Posted March 12, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 12, 2009 Well the security is tight but I do not see much of a problem. People still come and go to India and vise versa. Ofcourse, there are so many hurdles if you are an Indian in Pakistan or a Pakistani if you in INdia. We had people comming from India a Doctor Vinkat and he had no problems. Even if you have to report to the Police people which is a norm when a Pakistani or Indian travel to other country but one of my person will accompany you personally if needed I will be with you in person. First apply for the VISA if you do get the VISA then let me know and we will arrange every thing for you. NO PROBLEM, just make sure we know your contact number and you do know my persoanl contact number --- I am a medical advisor to Lexington International and Hairmax. What ever I say is my personal opinion. Dr. Mohmand is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network
