Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted August 1, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted August 1, 2014 This nice fellow stopped by to discuss a second case and exhibits a really nice result now 12 months out from a medium sized frontal case. Shown are preop, postop 1 week, and 1 year pictures (with and without flash). His scar looks great, and while I’m not a huge fan of “Caesar” hairstyles, it does work well for this man, and assists in overcoming his limitations of very fine hairs. I think we’ll likely do a second crown case, and if we’re lucky, he can stop by our area for a year check of that as well. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H. Senior Member Cryingoutloud Posted August 1, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 1, 2014 Sorry but what kind of presentation is this? Where's the shots of the guy's hairline? If the guy wants to style his hair like that, fine but the idea is to showcase the quality of the result, right?
Senior Member Rootz Posted August 1, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 1, 2014 Agree, are the result pics trying to trick us into thinking his hair is better than it is or actually display the details of the result? I would tend to think more of the former. I think this is a large area for 2800 grafts, but with proper graft placement and high yield I think this could look really good. Not sure what it really looks like though.

Glad there are others out there that are not afraid to call poor presentation out when they see it. The only 2 threads you will ever need: Revamped Advantages/Disadvantages of FUE. Myths dispelled. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted August 12, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 12, 2014 I do not disagree with your comments on "showing the hairline" at all. He did have his crown done yesterday and his girlfriend has exactly the same concerns about his hairstyle. Supposedly he will consider changing his hairstyle to a more traditional part line and may visit our patient and hairstylist after suture removal next week. He looks better in my opinion with a different hairstyle. But, I would point out that I've seen on the forums various guys with the "Caesar" cut and that is just some guys' preference. IF I'm able to get a different style'd picture in the next few weeks, I'll update this. I suspect its all in his girlfriend's hands at this point. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
