Dr. Bijan Feriduni Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 Follicular Unit Extraction performed on a 49 year old Caucasian male with: - NW V-VI - Donor density of ~92-96 FU/cm2 in the occipital donor region and ~86-90 FU/cm2 in the temporal donor regions - Hair diameter of ~60-68 microns Treatment plan: FUE procedure with 3000-3500 FU to reconstruct the entire hairline, central core and bridge with a conservative approach. Performed procedure (June 13th, 2013): A Follicular Unit Extraction with 3359 FU in a 2 consecutive days session: * 547 single hair FU * 2058 double hair FU * 754 triple hair FU Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts; Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.8mm – 0.85mm). Love the well calculated extraction pattern in the donor and the ultra-clean recipient(very little blood/swelling, minimally invasive incisions). Love seeing your work as always.
