Regular Member Jimbo34 Posted November 12, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 12, 2014 5 month updates attached and very pleased with progress so far. Hair is thickening up every week now and new hairs continuing to pop through. I have flicked hair up at front to show hairline progress so far. I am looking to get crown done in the new year (see last pic) how many grafts do you think I need? I was originally quoted 3000 around 10 months ago but I have had improvements since from meds. Senior Member Pma Posted November 12, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 12, 2014 Looking good jimbo! After looking at your crown I'm thinking more in the region of 2000 especially the results of fuethatwasclose7 had in his crown and I think his second procedure was in the region of 2000 grafts with a larger area to cover. Senior Member hadenough2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 21, 2014 Looking fantastic. You have a Wave to you hair similar to mine, so I hope to have a similar result in appearance of density. I would agree that around 2000 is right for the crown. I have read that crowns are the black hole for grafts.

Regular Member Jimbo34 Posted December 22, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 22, 2014 6 month update Recipient area continues to thicken although I think I am all but done for new growth now. Still have the odd white wirey type hair that will hopefully mature and blend better into my normal hair over time. I still have slight pluggy type bumps in particular in the hairline - is this normal at this stage? Booked in to address crown on 17th Feb in Madrid so will hopefully be able to assess my progress better then.
Senior Member Pma Posted December 22, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 22, 2014 Hi jimbo, All looks really well to me and at six month, there's a lot of thickening to come. Can't see from the pics what you mean pluggy type bumps, but definitely one to email dr lorenzo about ask before feb! Thanks for the update, let me know the reply about what they say! I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Cheers Pma
Senior Member Matt27 Posted December 22, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 22, 2014 that's a huge area to cover for 3k grafts. he even did the side triangles with it.

I guess its where the insertions were made and looks (to me) noticeable where these insertions were made..maybe im just being paranoid. I'll check out with Dr L and see what he says. Hope your healing/progressing well.
