Run hand through hair and hairs come out

I am on Propecia, Minoxidil 5%, taking B12 and biotin and eat pretty well. Seems like when I run my hands through my hair I always see a few hairs...especially in the crown where if I slight pull on the hair I probably get 2-3 hairs each time it seems. I don't have any true "bald" spots back there and this has been happening for a while..but it is getting thin. Looking to do a second HT of about 2000 in the crown (first time back there) and 1500-2000 in the front (to strengthen first), but am nervous as to whether I am chasing something that will be tough to fix. I have good donor hair...doc said probably one to two more procedures in me.

Appreciate everyones input and advice. I know I shouldn't pull my hair...but it's hard not to just to check to see if hair still comes out.

I lose 30 to 40 a day in the shower and another 10 when I towel dry and have been for years. I think this is when the majority of my daily fall comes comes out because I only comb my hair once a day directly out of the shower, so I try not to let it bother me too much.

I think that the caliber of what's falling is most important.

I am personally for what I call shrinking and dusting the crown for someone your age, but I would be careful with how much you use because you probably have a lot of native left to lose in your lifetime.

I am an online representative for Dr. Raymond Konior who is an elite member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.

Spanker when you say the caliber of the hair that falls out is more important, can you clarify? If healthy, thick terminal hairs fall out is that better or worse? Nowadays the hair that falls out for me are mostly very miniaturized hair.

Also, I know this has been asked before, but if the hair falls out with the white bulb at the end does it regrow?

Except for showering and grooming I found it's best just not to touch your hair, it just causes more worry and stress if you purposely go looking for hairloss and doing tug tests etc.

Keep an eye on the big picture and try not worrying about single strands.

White bulb hairs will grow back if they are thick in caliber as Spanker is indicating. Miniaturized ones will likely not come back back unless they are actually vellus new hair growth.

What type of shampoo you using in the crown btw?

go dense or go home
