· Don't over apply heat on hair

· Avoid tight hair ties

· Don't braid tightly during bedtime

· Choose satin pillow covers

· Dry hair cautiously

· Oil the scalp frequently

· Suitable hair masks

· Avoid teasing your hair

· Cold water is good for hair

· Use clarifying shampoo once in a month

· Brush effectively

· Healthy eating

· Don't use too many products

· Wash oily hair more frequently

· Concentrate shampoo on the scalp

· Use conditioner after every shampoo

· Concentrate conditioner on the tips of the hair

· Choose a shampoo and conditioner formulated specifically for your hair type

· Protect hair when swimming

1. Do not wash hair everyday as water and cleaning products will remove the natural oils on scalp that help maintain hydration.

 

2. know about the products you will be using for moisturizing and cleaning hair.

 

3. protection from heat is important.

 

4. Gently brush your hair three times a day for improving its health.

 

5. Add oil to your beauty routine. These nourish and give more hydration.

 

6. Once or twice a month you must go to a parlor and give your hair a nourishment therapy.

A very useful thread, can't not to bump it! :o I agree with all those tips, I try to use them too and they're really helpful! :) I also can add that avoiding too much stress is important in such case too, as also not over washing your hair, here's on machohairstyles.com more interesting information about it :o I can say from my own experience that over washing isn't really so good as it can seem, such often procedures cause damage for your scalp, especially if you use the low-quality products...:(

And yeah, massages with oils are very cool, personally I prefer in such case such natural oils as coconut and argan one, they're extremely good for the hair :cool: And if someone helps you with the massage, the process becomes even more pleasant :D
