  1. I agree with the previous responses, in case of genes such problem can appear accidenatlly and not in every generation From the pics I saw I say too that it's not the time for transplantation, you'll need to wait some time for it... And yeah, taking propecia is a nice idea Also some of such tips as here on MachoHairstyles can be useful for making the general effect better, especially the ones connected with the vitamins and more healthy daily diet Natural oils and green tea juice can be helpful too, some guys in such ways restored their hair greatly, I personally saw them on some other resources
  2. Oh, can't not to agree with you, even if this thread is old! But it's such a truth that having bald spots isn't considered fashionable at all, you said the right things that some celebrities still have cool hair even in a very mature age and the other prefer to keep their heads shaven in case of the hair loss... Well, personally I think that the second idea is better in all cases, especially if the bald spots are too big and can't be covered with the other hair cut... And yeah I'm envious too, especially when I look through the pics of some celebrities you mentioned, like Brad Pitt for example, here's on machohairstyles many examples of how lucky he is... I wish I could have the same look in my 50s but I feel that I'll need to shave my head in the future like Bruce Willis too
  3. A very useful thread, can't not to bump it! I agree with all those tips, I try to use them too and they're really helpful! I also can add that avoiding too much stress is important in such case too, as also not over washing your hair, here's on machohairstyles.com more interesting information about it I can say from my own experience that over washing isn't really so good as it can seem, such often procedures cause damage for your scalp, especially if you use the low-quality products... And yeah, massages with oils are very cool, personally I prefer in such case such natural oils as coconut and argan one, they're extremely good for the hair  And if someone helps you with the massage, the process becomes even more pleasant
  4. I agree with the previous response, the process of transformations after the procedure will take time, rather often a long time... Of course there's a possibility that the procedure was unsucessful but that happens really rare in fact so I don't think that you should worry about this Also you can cover up your bald spots with a wig or simply keep your hair shaved for some time... The second idea is better from my own experience, I always felt uncomfortable when I tried to use a wig Besides the shaved head style can look cool in many ways, like on these pics http://machohairstyles.com/best-shaved-head/ for example I kept such style like this guy during my restoration process and I can't say that it fit me so bad
  5. I agree with the previous responses, your problem doesn't seem to be so huge that a transplantation is necessary in the near future Besides if you only started to take your medicals, maybe it's better to wait for the effect from them, it can be that it'll be enough for the solving your problem And making a transplantation at the current moment can be even harmful for your scalp in general... Also your hair seems ok on these photos, to tell the truth I don't see the vivid sign of the hair loss... But if you feel uncomfortable with some areas, you can just change you haircut a bit, here's http://machohairstyles.com/best-hairstyles-for-balding-men/ for example many nice ideas for such case I like this one for example
  6. I agree with the previous responses, it's not a bald spot Seems that it's a natural thing for your hair but it doesn't begin the balding process However I think that it's better to change your hairstyle, even if it only seems to be a bald spot, personally I did the same several years ago My reasons were the same (but in my case sadly it was a starting of the balding process) so at the current moment I prefer the dapper haircuts like here http://machohairstyles.com/best-dapper-haircuts/ for example and now I look like this guy
  7. Can't not to agree with! The fade haircuts are one of the best for such cases Also the low top fade ones, like here http://machohairstyles.com/best-low-top-fade/ they look very nice and stylish too, and are perfect for covering the still not full heads I liked these ones the most of all for example Also some of them are nice for covering the thinning hairline too
  8. Can't not to agree with you, even if this topic is old because I had this experience! And it's the truth that strict fast diets aren't effective, they only can be harmful for your body... The best decision is creating the healthy eating habbits in general and regular workouts In my case yoga and pilates were good, also practising with such machines http://stylemann.com/best-nordictrack-elliptical-review/ at home instead of the gym I have the one in my house and it was a good alternative instead of running or walking outsides during the cold seasons
  9. I agree with you! This "hairstyle" is really cool but on the other hand it doesn't fit totally everybody, well, like in case with all other hairstyles But if you have an awful hairloss, the shaved look can be the only decision I also like that bald head + beard style, it looks very manly and gorgeous in case of many men, here's many good examples of it http://stylemann.com/best-bald-with-beard-ideas/ I think that I'll try it one day too
  10. Your doctor was totally right, masturbation isn't connected with the hair loss. Sadly but in your case the reason is in the genes, I suppose that you can repeat the fate of your father
  11. How old are you? I think that your methods of stopping hair loss are good but I suppose that they don't work because of genes and aging, it's sadly but because of that the hair line is receeding and almost nothing can be done with that Maybe you should try to consult with your or another doctor again? Also it can be a limit in your hair loss, you can just continue your procedures and maybe change your current hairstyle in order to cover the problem and feel more comfortable  I saw many nice ideas for such hair cuts in this nice article for example Personally I'm struggling with the same problem (but it's worse than yours) and I keep the style like on this pic, in such way it really feels better
  12. In such way it really looks nicer In my case I prefer to keep it in this way, it covers up my problem rather well Anyway there are rather many great ideas for hairstyles in case of the thinnng hairline I think that I'll try to change mine in the near future because I feel that it's not totally "mine"
  13. I've never heard about such method in case of hair loss... I think it's false
