Shaving my head post

Hey guys,

I'm ending week 2 of my 2500 graft FUT transplant.

I'm removing the staples tonight (I'm a few days behind because my friend whose a nurse wasn't available).

Anyways, I'm going to shave the rest of the hair off my head and I wanted to know if were any tips as far as when the clippers approach the donor scar and the boarder of my current hair and the transplant area.

Many thanks.

Josh

At this point in time you are probably healing pretty well right?

But here's the thing. If you shave your scalp, the strip scar is going to show and it even may be a little red or dark pink.

The donor scar is still going to be very sensitive and sore at this point in time.

Are you sure you want to do this?

Personally, I would wait if it was me.

Be gentle and careful would be my only tip. And run it by your doc.

Doc said it was ok. I did it last night, it was pretty simple.

The scar doesn't bother me at all really.

I am healing well but the sheer amount hair that is falling out from meet starting finesteride/shock loss from the transplant... kind of freaks me out, for my own sanity I just buzzed it.

Thanks,

Josh

Everything will grow back along with the grafts.

You should be just fine Josh but it just takes time...;)

Yes sir! I've rid the multiple freak out posts; trying to remain cool! Haha, easier said than done, just going to keep my head in my law books and wait this damn this out.

Waiting it out can be the hardest aspect of HT surgery, but patience will pay off my friend...;)
