Senior Member Cant decide Posted August 31, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 31, 2013 (edited) I am now sitting at a couple days shy of one month post op. Here are my thoughts: - Overall healing is much much faster then it was after round 1. Scabs all gone. Redness basically gone. All numbness just about gone and limited shock loss. These were all things that took quite a while to resolve after procedure 1. Plus donor area tenderness much much less than after round 1 as well. - Only about 30% of the grafts have shed and many of those that have not shed are growing. - I am very happy with the graft placement. - I think I will achieve my goal of shrinking the crown and improving my side back profiles even though we came in lower in terms of graft count. - My existing native hair is growing slowly which is to be expected after a surgery. Therefore, I suspect since I shaved my head for the surgery, it will take 3 months to reach my pre op look. - Ugly duckling phase is awful as many of you know. I am just trying to stay positive and look forward to the coming months of growth.
