Rubbing donor region to loosen scabs?

Hi,

I'm in Day 5 after FUE. Donor region ITCHES. OMFG!!! I've been mixing some salt in bottled water, putting it on a towel and dabbing it on every couple hours, and icing it to try to stop the itch. I have also been lightly rubbing my hand around the whole back of my head. It is also loosening the thousand tiny, hard balls of scabs causing several to come out. Is all this okay? I'm also having my first cup of coffee today. Any philosophies on coffee after a few days?

Welcome back DWMHD. I remember your posts a few months back. Who did you go with in the end?

I'd check with the Dr about those queries.

4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013

1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018

763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020

Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day

I used to rub the back of mine to help with the itching and remove the little scabs, I had pretty bad shockloss in that region( all came back) don't know if that caused it though!! Coffee must be ok as my dr always gave me a coffee at my washes and check up and immediately after surgery unless I'm mistaken!!
