Regular Member ninjathen Posted February 22, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted February 22, 2013 In the past 6 years I have undergone 4 H.Ts...Basically small procedures..I took propecia for about 3 years straight from 2000-2003...I used to say if it worked so well I would have not had to undergo transplants,whatever...Question,is there a trusted site to get a good generic brand? Thinking about going back on it just Dont want the added expense of 70$ a month..Thank you

Regular Member JohnKnee Posted March 2, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted March 2, 2013 Sandoz (Canada pharma) has a generic Propecia. People say it works just as good as the brand name version and cost much less. I myself still the brand name version from Merck.
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted March 2, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 2, 2013 In the US, the best option right now is to get a prescription for generic Proscar (5mg) and quarter the pill. The cost savings are astronomical and the result is the same. David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. The cost savings are massive and the pill is no different:)
