Regular Member bighosedragger Posted January 29, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted January 29, 2010 very nice result! was wondering if this pt. plans on adding finasteride to his medical therapy because his crown looks like it already going? also does he have enough donor for the crown should he lose it all? Senior Member TC17 Posted January 29, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 29, 2010 Beautiful hairline, but it appears to be a bit too densely packed when compared to the rest of his scalp. The top down photo shows a noticeable difference in fullness. Regardless, the result is spectacular and not that many grafts were used. Any idea as to what the graft per cm2 is? Dr. Bijan Feriduni
Thanks Bighosedragger, TC17, Mick and Future_HT_Doc! It is nice to know you appreciate this patient's result! To Bighosedragger: The patient was already on finasteride for 1,5 years before his treatment. The patient has a quite good donor yield, he certainly has about 6000-7000 FU left for future sessions. To TC17: The amount of grafts per cm?? varies between 35 and 50 FU/cm?? Best regards, Dr. B. Raphael84
Love this result. Hugely impressive. Modest graft count and great results. His midscalp/crown region does appear to be a little thinner but this is a seperate issue. The density is amazing considering the area covered and amount of grafts used. There is certainly no issue there. Im suprised by how good the hairline looks, especially the quality and calibre of the hair. The patient looks to have relatively thin hair and recession of the temples. The imm post op images appear to portray a rather mature hairline. Yet, with the quality of hair and I also believe the style that has been employed, the hairline looks very impressive, natural and thick. And of course, the added positive of no scar. So, off hand anybody, what would this kind of procedure cost with Dr Feriduni. Im interested in your work Dr! Dr. Bijan Feriduni
Thanks Raphael84 for your praising comments! I must say this patient ???s result is rather exceptional. Thanks to the preoperative use of Minoxidil 5% new growth of fine hair occurred in the hair line. Both the fine hairs and the outcome of the hair transplant lead to a very natural and almost undetectable hair line. I am always a bit skeptical with treating the crown area of patients younger than 35, I personally prefer to recommend the use of finasteride as an alternative treatment until they are at their mid-thirties. Costs for a FUE procedure amount up to 3.95,- Euro per FU + 500,- Euro medical costs, we offer a travel package with hotel accommodation and taxi service for our foreign patients.
