Hair Transplant Patient of the Week: Barry1108's 3,000 graft FUT with Dr. Path

Recently, we started a new tradition at the Hair Transplant Network: selecting one excellent hair transplant case shared by one of our members each week, and presenting this patient as our "Hair Transplant Patient of the Week" on the hair restoration discussion forums.

This week's lucky patient is "Barry1108", and his 3,000 graft FUT with Coalition hair transplant surgeon Dr. Pathomvanich ("Dr. Path"). Six months ago, Barry1108 traveled to Thailand and underwent a 9 hour, 3,000 graft, 7,000 hair Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) procedure with Dr. Path.

According to Barry1108: My surgery lasted for about 9 hours in total, pain wasn't bad ... and am really happy with the hairline that was designed and how it looks.

Not only has Barry done an excellent job keeping the community continually updated on his hair restoration journey, but he recently shared his 6 month post-operative images (approximately 40% maturation), and the results are great!

To view Barry's 6 month results, please see the following: Barry1108's 6 month update (3,000 graft FUT with Dr. Path).

Additionally, to review some of our past "Hair Transplant Patients of the Week," click here: England's 2,548 FUE with Dr. Feriduni; BonkerStonker's 7,460 FUT with Dr. Hasson; and Spreadlock's 2,400 FUT with Dr. Feller.

Finally, please remember to review all new photo albums, hair loss blogs, and hair restoration results shared by patients threads to help nominate potential future "Hair Transplant Patient of the Week" cases.

Please join me in congratulating Barry1108!

Great choice! Incredible result! It appears that I missed this one when Barry was posting so it was great to be able to see his transformation. Just highlights that staying upbeat and positive for the first 3-4 months when there is not too much going on is so important. Generally months 4,5,6 (although still early in the game) are when things began to happen. He must be thrilled! Great job!
