Santeria
Hey everyone, first of all, I want to thank this community for aiding me in my research and for providing a fantastic platform for the follically challenged. As you can see from the first picture, I suffer from traction aloepecia. 2 years ago I had to go and live in India for 1 year and decided to get a 1200 Graft FUE procedure done at AK Clinics in New Delhi. It was around $2.5US/graft. The surgery was okay but the results were horrible. After a year and 2 months, only 100-200 grafts grew back. I moved to Vancouver 2 months ago and decided to get it repaired at Hasson and Wong. As expected, Dr. Hasson and the staff were very courteous and helpful. I got around 1500 grafts on Oct 3rd, 2012 and it looks promising. I will keep you guys posted. Dr. Hasson works magic and I'm sure you'll love it once it's all grown in. Please keep us posted. Thanks, they promised 100% of the hair to grow back. Hope that's true. Also, the technicians told me that Dr. Hasson stands by his work and if I am unsatisfied for any reason, he will do his best to accommodate me. Santeria
3 month, 24 day update. Looks a little better but still looks pretty thin, especially in the 4th pic. Definitely can't comb it back, still have to sport the 'Dumb and Dumber' look. Do you guys think the front hair will get thicker? How long would it take to get the final result? Cheers. Senior Member orlhair1 Posted January 28, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 28, 2013 You are still very early in the process. Growth is in its very early stage. A lot more to come over the next several months. Santeria
Went to the clinic for a follow up and Joe took some pictures which I posted. I met Dr. Hasson and both him and Joe were pleasantly surprised at my results at just over 4 months. They said it's going to get thicker and better looking with time. You guys already know how good the people at this clinic are but if anyone had any doubt, I hope my results would help them make up their mind. I am 29 now and I wish I had this done a lot sooner. My confidence is through the roof. For the first time in my life, I can sport a hair style which sort of shows my hairline. I hope it gets nice and thick so I can comb it back. Cheers.
