Senior Member Buzz2 Posted September 11, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted September 11, 2012 Hi all I was wondering if any one has any recommendations for good styling products for thin hair? Something that doesnt show your scalp too clearly. Also, any products that you can use in conjunction with hair concealers. Thanks HT No1 : Nobel clinic, Gatwick 500 grafts - Terrible result, left with bumpy skin HT No2 : Marwan Saifi 1680 grafts. Great result HT No3 - Marwan Saifi 1250 grafts. Another good result. HT No4 - Hakan Doganay 2134 grafts. Result TBA Total 5134 grafts.

Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted September 12, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted September 12, 2012 I second Samy fat hair. I also like Vive for Men volumizing shampoo. Sometimes I get pretty good results with Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion. David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Senior Member MadMod Posted November 26, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted November 26, 2012 Hi Buzz, in the UK our options are fewer than in the US but I usually go with a Matte Putty, in a light blue tin from VO5. In moderation, I think it works really well as it doesn't go wet or clump the hair together. TakingThePlunge, I tried to find Samy products here in the UK and can't find the thickening cream... The shampoo and conditioner are available though- do you now if they're any good?
Senior Member Buzz2 Posted November 27, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 27, 2012 I''ll give that a try. I'm using Sammy Fat hair thickening mouse . It's working great. Will try the cream also. It's being sold in Superdrug, so give that a try. HT No1 : Nobel clinic, Gatwick 500 grafts - Terrible result, left with bumpy skin HT No2 : Marwan Saifi 1680 grafts. Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted November 28, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted November 28, 2012 Dax wax red tin is the hardest to get out because it's oil based but I love the stuff gives a bit of a wet look the other fore mentioned products like fx mud, samy fat hair and American crew fibre putty give a Matt look but washes out really easy, I find that after using American crew it actually conditions my hair making it look better and thicker when it's washed out and dry as well. The biggest help you can give your hair is a shampoo that works for you for me Ozzie miricle moist shampoo is great. Bonkerstonker! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1977 Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years.
