Senior Member Spanker Posted August 5, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 5, 2012 You incision almost looks like an arc instead of the usual smiley face, but your photos are hard to tell. Anyhow, it's really hard to go wrong with smg. You picked a good group. Good luck! carlosmiami
I had 400 grafts 12 years ago done by Bosley. I had done very little research at the time and had little funds. I know bad pictures, I will start using my camara instead of my phone.
carlosmiami
The hair that was transplanted that can be seen in the picture I understand will eventually fall in the next few weeks. However will the hairs that start growing in 3 to 6 months look like what I have now? I am in my opinion a hard case since my hair is thick, dry and curly. If you hair is thick and curly, those are are good attributes. Since you went the FUT route (like I did), you may want to consider growing your hair out a little longer. I would not expect your corners to look just as thick as your native at that short of a length but they may. You would not expect all of your hairs to grow out at the same time, and the caliber will improve over time. It is a long process and I would expect anywhere from 9 to 12 months to see the final product, with the caliber of hair possible improving after that. If you got an ht 12 years ago and still have that much hair, you are doing really well stability wise. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted August 5, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 5, 2012 Good call with Dr. Paul. However, I now have neck pain due to the angling of your pictures. Be patient and sit tight. It's a long ride. The hairs will grow back but they won't all come in at once. carlosmiami
Hey Gandolf, At the time 400 grafts seemed like a lot to me I had no idea what I was doing. I felt at the time I went into Bosley thats I was under expert care and all I needed to do was sit back. I now know diferent and thats why I went to shapiro. Thank you guys for you comments I appreciate it. Yeah Those were horrible pictures. I am just a little concerned about it looking natural. I know I went to one of the best and I honestly was very happy with the care I was given. The reason I ask about the transplanted hair that did not fall is because I am worried this is what the hairs will look like. Once these fall off in the next 3 to 4 weks will the new hairs look more natural?
