Bill - Seemiller
Rockstar, This community has been highly impressed with Dr. Radha Palakurthi, as have I. That's why she's now recommended on the Hair Transplant Network. I trust you'll be in great hands with Dr. Radha and I hope you'll share your detailed experience and photos right here on this forum. I look forward to hearing all about it :-). Bill

Regular Member Rockstar Posted April 28, 2012 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 28, 2012 Hi guys, Had a successful HT on 26/04/12 with Radha Rani. It was a wonderful experience and frankly speaking, i haven't found any surgeon who takes so much care of her patients. She was right beside me almost with the entire process. I had undergone a surgery of over 2800 grafts. The pre-op and post-op pics including other details are with Radha's clinic. Will create a blog here and post everything as soon as i receive mail from clinic. I am really short of words to praise her. I will definitely be indebited to her for the rest of my life. She took care of me just like her brother. Anyone who is still wondering which surgeon to chose, i would suggest you to stop worrying and book an appointment immediately with her. Will update other details shortly. Regards, Rockstar. Senior Member AllAboutHair Posted April 30, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted April 30, 2012 clean work..looks pretty cool..Happy growing... One thing, even your donor line at the back looks little above as it was for hair4ever.
Regular Member Rockstar Posted April 30, 2012 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 30, 2012 Thanks for your comment allabouthair. coming to the donor area, there is a good one fist gap between the crown and scar. so i think that is fine. Also i believe, the lower we go, the thinner the hair gets. correct me if i am wrong. Senior Member AllAboutHair Posted April 30, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted April 30, 2012 If there is enough gap that would be absolutely great. The one thing I liked is your donor area closure. Its really thin and neat
Regular Member Rockstar Posted May 2, 2012 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah i am really surprised after looking at my donor area in the pictures. The scar looks very very thin and i am pretty sure it goes unnoticeable quickly and forever. Now the only thing remaining is waiting for the grafts to shed and regrow. Its been almost one week already, and i haven't lost even a single graft. Can someone pls explain me about the shedding process(when it takes place). so that i can be less worried. My friends are telling me that the transplanted hair is growing slowly, but as far as what i read from this forum, the grafts need to shed first and then start growing in 4-5months. I am really confused. Pls let me know the exact process. Thanks in Advance. Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 15, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2012 Looks clean and tidy. If I were you I would shave the rest of my head to match the length, it would look natural. Mine was messy because maybe I was applying Minoxidil 2 weeks before surgery which made it more bloody. You can check my thread to have an idea. I think you chosed the right surgeon in Asia, I'm starting to be a fan of Dr. Radha's dedicated work. Regular Member Rockstar Posted May 15, 2012 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 15, 2012 Hi Hariri, I was suggested by Dr.Radha to wait for 30days before shaving my head.. so that is the reason. Any idea about the hair that has fallen while washing the scabs? will it grow back?? Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 15, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2012 If transplanted correctly, then use it will grow back. I advice you not to touch the scabs for 14 days, just pour water on them. Becareful and remember each scab is $1. Take care of them haha. Senior Member Janna Posted May 15, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2012 Here is the update of my HT progress.pics taken on 20th day.. I have lost so much hair while washing off the scabs. I am not sure if that hair will grow.can someone pls confirm about that. coz if that hair returns back,my head will look much better.. Yes, the shed hairs will all grow back in due time. Expect all your scabs to fall off in the next few days since you're at 20 days post-op. Approximately 70% of your transplanted hairs will shed in the first month and half. You will start seeing new growth of the transplanted hairs at 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 months after surgery. The transplanted hairs will thicken and mature for the next 7-8 months after initial growth. You'll have full results at 12-14 months after surgery. You have a long ways to go so try not to worry about growth. Time will fly if you think about other things besides your hair. Good luck. Regular Member Rockstar Posted May 15, 2012 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 15, 2012 Thanks a lot Janna for clarifiying my doubt.. I was terrified that i might have plucked the grafts while washing off scabs.. Your words have given me a lot of confidence. Now i will peacefully concentrate on other things and hope for good..
