Dr. Bijan Feriduni Posted March 30, 2012 Share Posted March 30, 2012 (edited) Follicular Unit Transplantation performed on a 32 year old Caucasian male with: - NW Class II ant class N-T - Donor density of 92 FU/cm2 - Hair diameter of ~75 microns Treatment plan: A FUE procedure with 1800FU to reconstruct the hair line, central core and temporal peaks Performed procedure (June 16th , 2011): A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1929FU in a single day session: * 617 single hair FU * 911 double FU * 401 triple hair FU Extraction performed with a 0.9mm FUE punch with Versi handle™. No microscopic preparation of the single, double and triple follicular unit grafts; Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.8mm – 0.9mm); Dr. B. This is one lucky patient. I think all docs should have to provide this type of info in results galleries on their sites. 2000 grafts for one guy is not the same as 2000 for another. To RecedingTide: This patient has a donor yield of 4000-5000 FU left for future FUE procedures. He started using finasteride on Dr. Feriduni 's advice at about 6 months prior to the procedure.
