Hi Guys

I've got face-to-face consultations tomorrow with 2 Doctors in Belguim.

- Any tips for questions I should ask?

- Should I expect them to examine my hair for density etc?

Any comments and guidance are welcome to make sure I get the most out of it.

Hello. You can ask them to give their opinions on what type of pattern or hair loss progress you are likely to have in future. No one has a crystal ball but an estimate. How many grafts you have in the tank.

Speak about your expectations & what you hope to achieve. How many passes you may need in the near future depending on your level of loss.

What the plan of action is & number of grafts needed.

They will or should examine your donor- Dr. Hasson examined my laxity too in the consultation a day before I went under the knife.

Any tips for questions I should ask?

I would ask things like:

Does the doctor/staff only perform surgery on one patient a day?

Does the doctor do hair transplants on a full time basis

and what percent of the practice is hair transplants?

How many full time hair technicians does the practice employ?

Since the tech's skill level is very important, what is the techs

level of experience? How long have the techs been doing this

that will be working on me?

How long has this doctor been doing hair transplants full time?

Will the doctor doing the consult actually be the doctor that

performs my surgery?

Here are my general expectations.....are they realistic?

After looking at my hair, what do you envision as the long term

plan? Will I most likely need more than one surgery?

How do you rate my donor hair?

Do you offer discounts on grafts after a certain point like many cliincs?

Like first 2000 grafts are $5 per graft, after that they drop to $3 per graft.

Will the clinic be able to see me the following day to check and shampoo

the first day post-op?

Does this doctor prefer to shave or cut down my hair for the surgery?

Can you give me a brief tour of the facility?

(so you can get a feel for cleanliness/professionalism/quality)

Are there past patients I can talk to and/or meet?

Remember a hair transplant turns back the clock,

but it doesn't stop the clock.

Here are a few of many important questions you might want to ask during your consultation.

1. How many procedures per day are being performed at the clinic?

2. Do they use microscopes to dissect grafts and magnification for making recipient sites and graft placement?

3. What is the experience of the technicians?
