Senior Member Buzz2 Posted March 15, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted March 15, 2012 I would be interested to know this also as mine is nearly ear to ear and I only had approx 1700 grafts, although in this was a scar revision, so this could of made a difference HT No1 : Nobel clinic, Gatwick 500 grafts - Terrible result, left with bumpy skin HT No2 : Marwan Saifi 1680 grafts. You are not alone with this challenge. The incision scar from FUT strip transplant is often a concern for patients pre and post operative. A persons genetic healing tendencies and the various levels of skill and talent by physicians makes a difference. Even the suturing of the incision is involved in the healing of the donor area and the subsequent scarring. I, work as a patient advocate for medical director, Dr. Parsa Mohebi of US Hair Restoration based out of Los Angeles, CA. It has become one of the focus areas beyound just hair transplant surgery in our clinics throughout southern California. Im sure I will be happy with the final outcome. I was just intrigued to know regarding the length of the scar against grafts ratio HT No1 : Nobel clinic, Gatwick 500 grafts - Terrible result, left with bumpy skin HT No2 : Marwan Saifi 1680 grafts. Regular Member vizagdiary233 Posted March 20, 2012 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 20, 2012 hiiiii forum members, Its a 21st day of my surgery, since past 2 day i am feeling a little bit of itching sensation in my recipient area and also the shedding process is started, single hair falls after itching and then when you watch it closely at the end of it a black bulb like( root ) is there but when you take off normal hair with its root its bulb area is white. well i have just now mailed the doctor explaining the whole process and i think its a normal shedding but i was told that it will be after 1 month, has it been started very early ? please give some valuable comment friends Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bulb is normal, the grafts are anchored in by now & safe. Don't scratch with your nails though. I still itch now nearly 6 months on.
