Who was your doctor? 500 pounds is like $803.05 (rates as of 11/11/11). You mentioned 6200 hairs were planted. Did they tell you the number of grafts? How does your donor area look right now? Do you have any before pictures of your hair so members can see how the areas looked before they were addressed, this way we can see what is to be expected from the work in the months ahead. Take a look at my hairlosswebsite, I am trying to update my results monthly and had previous photos put up as well as photos from the day of my surgery before and after. This helps a lot of people get an idea of what was done, where, why, and how it will look later. Yes, I do see the FUT/STRIP stitches in one of the photos you posted, however, I wanted to see if you had a better picture to show how the donor looks now. Can you update your results every month or two months? This well help show the quality of work and this will help you with feedback on the transplant as well. Did you get this transplant done in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, or another city in Pakistan? Who was the doctor though? This helps link the doctor with the results in the future. Usually many of the members do not go to clinics/doctors charging really cheap rates because the average opinion is that if you pay less, it may not come out as you planned or you can end up with more issues that may need to be corrected later. I am not saying this may be the case for you but since you went for the option to have it done based on price/affordability, I think most of us would like to see how it grows and turns out in the months ahead. Regular Member uzy Posted November 17, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 17, 2011 I just added new picture from recent doner area its healed now no problem at all , I will up date every month , I can understand most people go to expensive hair transplant i went to cheaper one and he is qualified from UK and he MBBS surgeon the hospital is not 5* but I am satisfied with his work I can see too many small hair just start growing it will be 3 month on 20th November and hair cycle just started and I am using Genises 1mg tablet every day and Mixodil 5% . I do not have picture before transplant because I was using hair piece before transplant and my all few year back pictures with hair piece. So the clinic did not take any pre op or post op pics? Seems like they'd take pictures for their own records. 25 cents a graft is unheard of. What kind of staffing did they have? How long was your procedure? I have heard of that brand of finasteride you mentioned, Genesis. I wanted to give it a shot since someone told me a 30 day supply was around $2-3 dollars. Did you buy that from Pakistan and how much did it cost? I just wanted to confirm if that was an accurate price. Well after this transplant, looks like you don't have to worry about a hair piece again. In a few months, you wont even have to worry about caps too. Regular Member uzy Posted December 4, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 4, 2011 for some reason I got allergy last week on my head too much ichy head and face and my ears I contacted my doctor and he told me you got allergy stop using all medicine and minoxdil , not sure why i got allergy was using same medicine from last 3 months but anyway doctor gave me Proton 5mg table and i used only 4 tablet and everything gone now back to normal and today i took tablets again after week break but no more minoxdil because i get dry skin when i apply monoxdil so doctor told me stop using anymore, just worried whether i get good result without minoxdil I start using Genesis and Surbex tablets ?
