Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted June 14, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted June 14, 2011 This fellow had just over 2500 last June with preservation of his frontal tuft. He stopped by last week and spoke with a couple of potential patients and really looked quite good. Although he lives nearby, I only saw him for suture removal and last week. He did a fantastic job cleaning postop and went back to work at a week where he says people thought he had a sunburn, but that faded and nobody paid much attention to his head. He wears a Caesar cut and says he may deal with the crown later but really gave a patient or 2 a nice review of the recovery/healing and growing processes. His scar looks fine and I suspect he'll thicken just a bit more this summer. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted June 22, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 22, 2011 Thanks. We did exactly the same case on a similar fellow Monday. Leaving that frontal tuft, if appropriate, lets us get further back and helps with early camouflage. But, it may need work later. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted June 28, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 28, 2011 Thanks for the comments. I posted the 1 week pics specifically to show the appearance at 1 week in a redish skin patient. He says he was able to say that he got "sunburn" and folks at work didn't question his appearance. I had the occasion to see a couple of similar guys on my trip to England over the weekend and I'm glad to have this case available for their review. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
