Senior Member Tonycc Posted June 10, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 10, 2011 You got two options: make an awkward joke about it to break the imaginary tension you think everyone else is feeling or stare straight ahead not saying a word. Either way, it's going to be an uncomfortable 30 seconds.
Regular Member Trichologist Posted June 13, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted June 13, 2011 Well hold on now, it's like any other medical condition, its not like you inflicted it on yourself. I would see no reason whatsoever to be bashful or uncomfortable.
Moderators Al - Moderator Posted June 14, 2011 Moderators Share Posted June 14, 2011 No, no. The worst is when you already had many HT surgeries and then one of those commercials comes on and someone says "Why don't you try that?". Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted June 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 17, 2011 I remember feeling this way when I went to the barber. I remember that all the barbers (half of whom were older than I) and typically all the clientele seemed to have full heads of hair. I always felt like I was the only bald guy in the place and felt that everyone was secretly pitying me. Probably my imagination but the feeling was undeniable.
