Haircut after HT, when?

Hey guys,

I am one month post-HT and was wondering when is it safe to get a haircut. Not all of my grafts have fallen off yet so I definitely do not want to damage them. But my hair everywhere else is really long. So, when do you guys think it is safe to get a haircut without damaging the new grafts that have not shed as of yet?

Thanks,

You're one month post op? You should be fine to cut your hair and go about normally for most part. Do you have post op instructions from your clinic? If not, contact them to follow their protocol.

I absolutely concur with Janna. Your grafts are well seated and you won't hurt them with a haircut. I presume that all of the crusts are gone and your scalp is clean at this point post-op?

Post-op instructions can vary somewhat so it is important to follow your own doctor's instructions.

Just think...the best is yet to come...your new growth!

Best wishes to you.
